Travel Purpose: We stayed at Clyde Hotel for one night to visit Lake Waikaremoana. The hotel is a work in progress, but our room, called Africa, was beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable. The renovated modern bathroom was a nice touch, and we appreciated the shared coffee and tea area just outside our room. The smart TV and Wi-Fi were great amenities, and the location across the river was convenient. The staff was accommodating and provided excellent recommendations for places to eat and things to do.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The staff were super friendly and really helpful throughout our stay. The Smart TV and Wi-Fi were a lifesaver, especially after a long day exploring the city. The bathroom was average but decent enough. Plus, the heaters in the room kept us warm and the extra blankets were a nice touch.
There were a few minor things that could have been improved. The heating in the room was a little difficult to control, and it would have been nice to have a phone in the room.

The room was huge and the bathroom was legit fancy. And guess what? It was like super close to some sick hiking trails and awesome fishing spots. We even rented some bikes and went on a gnarly cycling adventure around the area. If you're a young person looking for an epic vacation with your crew, this is the place to be!
The only thing we wished for was a killer party scene at the hotel. Like, it already had everything else, but imagine if they had a cool bar or a sick DJ playing some banging tunes.

Oslers bakery and cafe near the apartment is worth visiting. The bathroom was equipped with a sink. Long river gallery was around 5 minutes walk away.
